Tools to Save You Time Online When Scheduling Images
You can use this scheduling app for Pinterest when you sign up for the Awesome plan. Buffer is a good scheduling app to start with because of its ease of use and its interface with other social media applications. Plus, if you use Daily or Pablo, Buffer products, news from Daily and images you make with Pablo can automatically be added to your buffer of scheduled tweets, Facebook updates, or Pinterest images.

Chrome Extensions for Pinterest Make Pinning Effortless
Open your Chrome browser, navigate to the Chrome Web Store, and search for the following extensions.
Pinner for Pinterest
Again, to use this feature right-click an image you like and post it onto one of your pinboards. If you highlight text on the web page (including your own blog post), it will automatically appear in the description box.
Pinterest Right Click
You can add this extension to your Chrome or Firefox browser. Once you add it, you’ll be able to right click any picture you see on the web and repin it to one of your Pinterest pinboards. This way you can repin as you travel across the Internet without needing to open Pinterest.

When you see an image you’d like to repin, click the browser extension, select a pinboard, and add a description. It’s that simple.
Scheduling Apps for Instagram
If you use Instagram, you’ll enjoy the option to schedule images in advance.
Instagram is a popular social media network, and if your reading demographic uses it, you’ll want to check out these applications

This tool enables you to upload images from your computer, iPhone, tablet, or Android; plan and schedule your posts; upload videos; and manage multiple accounts, if you have more than one. On a free account, you can upload 30 posts per month.
With this tool you can organize campaigns or schedule images one by one, manage multiple accounts, create content, and add bulk uploads at once. For a single account the cost is $20/month.
Use this free app to schedule images to Twitter and Instagram simultaneously. You’ll find it at iTunes and at Google Play where it’s called Publish.
Tips for Increasing Engagement
Now that you’ve spent time curating information and writing your posts, you want your fans and followers to see them, right? To determine at what time the majority of your followers will be online, use one of the following applications.
For $9/month, this tool will provide real-time audience reach and engagement metrics, tailor recommendations for your Facebook and Twitter accounts, schedule your posts, and provide weekly summaries.
This free application will help you to discover the time of day when most of your followers are online. Unlike Facebook users, Twitter users seem less inclined to spend time reviewing tweets posted within the past several hours. That’s because Twitter is an immediate platform, so you want to get the attention of your followers by posting during the times of day when most of your followers are using Twitter.
Experiment with some of the scheduling applications here or from last week’s post. If you use Chrome as your preferred search engine, you might prefer Buffer because of its Chrome extension. If you like to plan recurring tweets, then SocialOomph might be the best application for you, but if you like to schedule more than four tweets daily and you want a free application, then HootSuite would be the best application for you.
Once you’ve decided what you would like to say and which articles you’d like to share, use one or more of the applications I’ve discussed to schedule your tweets and posts at intervals throughout the day.
Post four to ten times a day on Twitter, once or twice a day on Facebook, twice a day on LinkedIn, and at least once daily on Google+. Later in the day, you can respond to comments about your posts and have some real fun.
